                              As President, I would like to thank one and all for visiting
                              our web site and welcome you to the I.S.S.H.A.  I’ve been
                              an ISSHA member for 30 years, Vice President for 8 years
                              and President for 2 years.  During this time I’ve been able
                              to meet many friends and rekindle old ones.

                  I can think of no better way to spend 5 days away from work,
                              than to attend the Illinois State Stock Horse Associations annual
                              trail ride.  Where I can visit, trail ride and relax with all my friends.

                          Young and old alike, ISSHA members have one thing in
                          common – We are horse lovers banding together to promote
                          horses and Trail riding in Illinois.

Secretary Norma Stone

                         
                         Hello, I am Norma Stone from Springfield, Illinois.  I became a
                         member of the ISSHA in 1954, the same year I made my first
                         annual 100 mile trail ride.  I just made my 50^th 100 mile ride. 
                         I was Assistant Director for many years until I became the
                         Secretary / Treasures, an office I have held for 28 years.

                         In the past 50 years, I have helped make improvements in the
                         horse industry through the ISSHA.  I helped in making many of
                         the trails in some of the State and National Parks, some of which
                         are now being closed.

                         I have enjoyed all my years with my horses and hope to continue
                         for many more years.
